Pre Storm Sunrise

At the time of posting this blip, I'm a day behind again ... (although the date does correspond correctly, which is what matters) ... :o)

The day actually began beautifully ... I caught this shot using my emergency camera, on the way to work at 05:30 (and in the usual rush, of course) ... 
The weather didn't stay like this all day though ... In fact just after lunchtime, it deteriorated dramatically ... A heavy downpour saw a quarter of the months rainfall in just an hour or so ... Thunder, lightning, heavy rain and strong winds, brought temporary havoc to the island, with floods and lightning damage, etc ... 
At least I didn't have to water the garden ... :o)
