The real and the unreal

Is the blue rose real? 

No, of course not. 
While the yellow rose came from our garden the blue one is courtesy of Photoshop.

We live in an age where the real and the unreal are becoming increasingly blurred .

But genetic engineering has  made  blue roses possible- at a price. (Whoops! sorry this is not strictly true- the roses are more mauve or lavender. The blue roses seen in bouquets are white roses dyed blue ).
