Red House Roof (Day 18)

The day wasn't just the roof - I played with Monya the dog, chatted to our guests, and went to a fine concert this evening. (See HarlingDarling for more details of that.)
But I was out early on the roof and worked fairly intensively until 4 this afternoon. It's coming along nicely. One more day to finish the battens, and perhaps put the first roofing sheet of metal in place, including shaping it to fit around the chimney.
Then one more day to fit the rest of the metal roof.
I'd really like to get that far in the next two days because then I'm on a 5 day TaiChi course and there won't be any time for the roof. (There's also a lot of rain forecast for next week!) So, up early tomorrow and onto the roof!
