Three Amigos!

Although we were tired from travelling back from The Dolomites yesterday and would have loved a quiet day today, we went partying instead!

Well, only a bit of tea and cake in Market Drayton in Shropshire. We took my dad to a surprise 80th birthday party of his oldest friend. (the chappie on the right in this shot). My dad is on the left and their other old school mate in the middle. 

They've known each other since they were about 11 or 12, and first met at a boarding school called Shooting Butts in Rugeley. Listening to them talk about the place I got the impression that they certainly got up to a lot of mischief and not much schooling.....!
