The fruit basket

Here is a blip of our fruit basket. I bought this shallow basket at the Traquair Fair many years ago, thinking this would make a good receptacle for our fruit (of which we eat a lot!). The basket has really earned its place in the kitchen :o)

Two eggs were laid by the chickens today and so I had scramble eggs for supper. Delicious!
