Lake Luzern

...or the Vierwaldstättersee - the lake of the four forested settlements - as it is known here.
We arrived here by train around midday, having travelled through the beautiful landscape of blue lakes, green fields and picture postcard towns and villages. After lunch in the old town, we went for a round trip on the lake itself. It was lovely to be out on the water.
We've all been here before , but never together.
