Making A Splash

Ismo *  here needs a passport, so it was my task to try and take his official photo. He was fast asleep when he arrived and was seriously unhappy about not being left in that state. Which he let us know in several ways, this being the most visually impressive, for the larger part it was a vocal complaint. We got there eventually.

Considering the hundreds of photographers in Copenhagen, less than ten will try this particular discipline. Nearly all offer "baby portraits" but try getting the little buggers to comply to strict rules and they run a mile (the photographer ....obvs, not the the babies - that would be silly).  My trick is a white plastic translucent product shot table with a strobe under the baby and a big soft box hanging overhead (we have a sky-rig type system ....all on sliders and stretchy arm thingys).
