More Beach

Another belter of a day. We decided to go to the other part of Newton beach that was nearer to Dunstanburgh Castle. Beautiful. The boys were down to the seashore immediately and I walked along the shore enjoying the warm sun.

Picnic on the beach and then after a while we stopped off sitting outside in the Golf Club for a refreshment.

Freshened up at the Cottgae then out for our tea in Bamburgh as my daughter is heading home tomorrow in the train nice to have some pub food. Meal was nice.

This is our cottage - it's a good size but very chintzy and kinda old fashioned. There are no sharp knives and no blinds on the South facing windows meaning wakened at 5 with the sun! The beds are tiny doubles and I'm glad brought my own pillow !
There is a washing machine and dishwasher which is good.
