Ugly mug

Popped to see a client that needed some updates to the website and was presented with this chick, one of their many rescued animals.  Yup, it's a pigeon...

Many years ago one of the cats brought in an egg which hatched before our eyes.  Having no idea what it was or what to do with it, I snuggled it up in a makeshift nest, put it under a lamp and slept next to it that night. The chick survived and we took it to a RSPB recommended person who hand fed it every few hours until it flew away a couple of years later.  

It was also a pigeon, and the children  have very fond memories of visiting Deborah and her birds year after year.  What amazing experiences they've had if I come to think of it.
