Skenfrith Walk
We drove to our friends in the next village and travelled with them to Skenfrith, Monmouthshire, to do a circular 7 mile walk from the castle.
The blipfoto is of the castle from the top of the hill overlooking this old village that time forgot, just as we were nearing the end of the walk.
It shows the 12th century castle ruins, 810 year old St Bridgets Church, and in the bottom right is the 17th century coaching inn called The Bell.
It was a beautiful warm day which was totally in contrast to the overcast rainy misty day we had yesterday.
The extra photo's show me and our friends John & Stella Giblin at St john the Baptist Church, Llanrothal.
