Renovating herbs

The herb garden is being dealt with.  It is small but less than perfectly formed.  Flagstones which were set to leap from one to another have been repositioned to form a path - getting too old to do any leaping.  These flagstones are really heavy so they will not be moved again.
All the plants have been lifted and the huge bronze fennel has been removed.  Sad about that as it was a fine shape and provided some structure over winter - however, it took up a lot of space so had to go.  If I grow another one I'll put it in a decorative part of the garden.
I'll get down to replanting the others tomorrow.
A couple of pots of oriental lillies mark the entrance to the herb garden.
