One and a half circuses

Having acquired some free tickets to the circus, I decided to take Anna and Brawit tonight. We were already running late for the 5 o' clock performance, so we quickly headed for Victoria Park, Bath from the train station. I wasn't sure exactly where it was in the park, so I asked for directions to the circus. I followed the directions, but couldn't find it, so I asked a second person. "It's just there at the end of the road", she said as if I was completely daft not to have noticed it from where I was standing. I followed her directions and then it dawned on me that the circular arrangement of buildings we were standing in was not what we were after. Eventually we made it, just before the end of the first set!
