And then on Tuesday I planted the ladder in between plants, went up and collected cherries, when suddenly the ladder began to subside to the side - quickly realising i would be landing on railings and path, i threw myself the other way and landed on the blue ceramic plant pots. The pots are fine, the plants aren't, and i now apparently have a cracked rib and a very very sore neck, legs, hip and ribs - and i am lucky it wasn't worse :-)

well that'll teach me to go planting ladders in flower beds..
