Parliament House from the Pinnacle

Another cold, bright sunny day in Canberra. Layered up and went for a hike to the Pinnacle - another section of Canberra's nature park. This view is looking from the Pinnacle towards Parliament House. Other views were not so enjoyable. Near one of my prime bird watching spots land is being dug up and graded, trees knocked down. Not sure what they're doing there at the moment but, regrettably, the area is slated for development. Our bush capital seems to be losing its bush rather too rapidly for my taste.
