Provan Hall

It was a gritty back and white kind of day today so thats the image I went for.  
Just a quick shot outsiude the building which is part of medieval Glasgow and possibly the oldest house in the City.   Mary Queen of Scots and King James V have stayed in it.  And allegedly Mary had an affair with one of the family who lived there at the time.

The reason I didn't go inside had nothing to do with a fear of ghosts!  Its inhabited by several, and was the subject of intense paranormal investigation over 10 years ago.   There are at least 3 ghosts, and the scariest is probably the guy who comes into one of the rooms armed with a dagger.  Its there that he killed his wife and her child after he returned from 2 years fighting in a war to find that she had had a child in his absence.   He obligingly put in an appearance during the last paranormal investigation.
