Marcella

So there I was, cycling through Bethnal Green when I came upon a road closure. I could see a load of police cars, ambulance, a smashed car and, major horror, a man lying in the road with blood everywhere and his crushed bike. He wasn't moving a muscle. But there were also cameras and stuff. I was confused (not difficult- Ed.)

Oh no, I said. But one of the policeman rushed over and explained that they were filming. It was all a very realistic set up. There was great attention to detail including buckled wheels and a bent saddle.

There were about 50 crew and the scene will probably only be about 30 seconds. Makes you realise the cost of making films.

I spotted this technician with the clapper board thingy and it says it is for Marcella Series 2. So if you watch this series when it comes out you see this mash up on your screen.
