Jungle party

There are regular jungle parties and festivals in and around Pai which are heavily advertised and tickets are sold around town for a few weeks beforehand. We decided to go with our American and Australian friends.

We did lots of pre-drinking and then got in the back of a Songthaew (the red taxi trucks famous in northern Thailand) to go to the location of the party. Just before we left, two young American girls jumped in and they were hyper and made the long bumpy journey seem twice as long.

We arrived and I managed to find some face paints and glitter. The party was fantastic but the photos were all as blurry as our memories so I'm using this official photo even though you can only see the top of my head.
