Bath

Last day of our little holiday and visited Bath. Haven't been there for decades!
Of course you have to do the Roman Baths which were fascinating (extra). They now have these wonderful audio devices that you listen to as you go round, giving a commentary. Thus making it a lot more interesting than reading info boards. They had a special channel for the kids, and another channel for Bill Bryson to chip in his opinion of it all!
Also wandered up to the Royal Crescent, magnificent place. Would love to have a nose around one of those houses, so if any of you blippers live there, what time shall I come round for tea?

Walking back to the car, weary but happy, who should be come across but Giles Coren, Beth's ultimate hero. He was quite simply delightful. Had a long chat with Beth and was very charming. We like him!

Have to share a video with you, Beth and Maisie performing together for the very first and hopefully not the last time. This was for a fundraiser for the school that they both went to. Very proud Mum
