Baby

Today we had a visit in the office from a colleague on maternity leave and her brand spanking new baby. I must have baby fever because i started taking pictures straight away. However, i then twigged that she's not actually MY colleague and i don't know her. So then i felt a bit awkward but thought it would be even more weird if i just walk away so i stood there nodding in tune with the conversation she was having with an actual colleague of mine. Then, out of the blue she said, "want to hold him?". And so i held the baby and despite it was not mine, it felt like the future and i felt warm and happy.
