New places

A few people have mentioned Rushmere Park for great dog walks just south of Milton Keynes.

It was our first visit today and it rained for some of it. We didn't care though as it was just lovely to be in an interesting and accessible wood. I saw a muntjac within 2 minutes of the car park, though Ruby didn't spot it!

She did me proud when a horse and rider came by on a parallel track in the wood. Too late to get Ruby on a lead but while she did go quite near, she skirted it and didn't go too near and didn't bark either. Phew! But it's good to know she has a healthy regard for possible danger.
