Fort Douglas

We had a fab day out at Dalkeith Country Park. We met up with KS and her children. We've not seen each other for ages so it was great to catch up. The children had a blast at Fort Douglas, climbing and playing and having a wee go on the rolling haggis'. We had lunch at The Restoration Yard (a nice treat for the mummies) and then headed back into the fort for the afternoon. We certainly got our monies worth! Later on K & kids came back to ours where her 4 yr old boy was introduced to nerf guns... sorry K!
D and C went to cricket practice this eve. D claimed he didn't want to go, he does this every week. And every week he doesn't want to leave. So this week I have recorded a video of him telling me what a great time he's had so I can play it to him if he moans next week.
Once D was in bed and while we waited for C to return from cricket practice A and I had a nice take away curry and beers :-)
