Brainmelt

Having Skyrider here this week naturally means we're playing games. Tonight a number of us got together and played a couple of games, the first of which was Magic Maze - one of the contenders for Spiel des Jahres this year.

It involves trying to cooperatively manoeuvre pieces in a growing tiled area, to a tight time limit, with each person only able to make one type of move (e.g. Fred can only move pieces East; Joe, only West; Bert North or up and down stairs, and so on) - without speaking.

It's naturally short game so we played a couple before doing something simpler, like working out the square root of minus 1.
