King of Butterflies ....

Or Queen in this case!

As I sat in the sunroom this morning (before the heat drove me into the air conditioning!) I saw this beautiful Monarch Butterfly back by the milkweed.

I grabbed my camera, which was already on the tripod, and went back to see if I could get some photographs of her.  I wasn't having much luck as she really couldn't decide where she wanted to land ... as butterflies do!  I lost sight of her as she fluttered away somewhere and I was going to give up.  But as I turned around to walk back to the house I spied her on the butterfly bush!
