Real Manchester

After the day before, I took grand-daughter M to her nursery school. The school and lots of really well-designed social housing are now on the site of the former stadium at Maine Road. The site of the centre spot is across the road from the school.

Neighbours around our family have been brilliant - flowers, offers of support, both practical and moral. Real Manchester.

And in case you're wondering, there is only one proper football team in Manchester - the "other one" is in Salford...
