Thomas

Thomas has trained TaiChi for many years but was on the TaiChi 1 course to further improve his technique.
He plays wonderful violin, usually folk music, but is also a master story-teller. As a special treat we got to hear some of the stories that may go into his next show. The stories are based on reality and are nearly always to do with the folk musicians of the early 1900's and the other people of that time living in Västerbotten.
It’s wonderful to see a master story-teller in action. Here his audience numbered about 13, all of whom knew him personally, but I have also seen him hold an audience of hundreds in his hand. The stories always involve comedy, music, regional dialect, and very often tragedy too. We can be laughing uproariously one moment and tears can be flowing the next.
Story telling and music - a job probably as old as humanity!
