Least Sand Piper

So chuffed to get this photo. The driver who is a keen birder said he had not seen them in this area for at least two years.
Huge day, cases out at 6.30am and arrived here at 5pm. Wonderful trip but most photos taken out the bus window. Our driver was so amazing got a natural history lesson the whole way.
We are now in Dawson in the Klondike gold mining area. The town is so different . Have just been to a great burlesque show. The dancers were really great and beautiful costumes.
This country so huge. Amazing landscapes stretching as far as the eye can see.
Tomorrow morning just plan to wander with my camera and take the amazing buildings. There is a huge music festival on here so bet there will be plenty of photojournalism.
It is 10.15 pm and still like mid day with the sun shining brightly
