After the excessive water drenching yesterday and overnight, and the gale force winds its a wonder the two roses have survived - shows how stoic roses can be.

All's well here and in our area, thank you for your concern - once the heavy rain stopped the flood levels dropped, now lots of clearing and drying out.  Fortunately, we are on a hill. All up we had 85 mm, then today it has rained lightly.  But, there is still very serious flooding throughout Canterbury, many folk have been evacuated and lots of uncertainty. The forecast is good, a blessing.

I donned the gummies and squelched out to the garden, used my long lens, flash fired against the overcast sky.....result !
