Photoshoot

Camera House had the Nikon people in showing off their gear today, followed by a Speedlight workshop by Steve and a mini photoshoot.

I no longer use a Nikon but went along mainly for the workshop as did a full weekend Portraiture and Lighting workshop last year and promptly bought a speedlight which I have hardly used and not sure how to work the settings.
I didn't really get it going today but have arranged to call in at the shop sometime for a quick tutorial.
With modern cameras you don't need them for extra lighting any more but rather to control the light and you can get some great effects.
I don't think I even had it on here so not a good example but the model always looks gorgeous.
