Byres Hill

Best view of East Lothian is from the top of the tower, Hopetoun Monument on Byres Hill.  But the view of it is also good, especially at this time of year when the crops are growing and the fields aren't just bare. 

The day passed with various jobs, so I took myself out for a walk just before dinnertime to find something to photograph. Amazing what you can find even if it's just weeds and thistles.
