Juvenile
We made a brief visit to Saffron Walden this morning to collect our prescriptions and to get some fresh fruit, which I no longer have delivered on the lorry.
The rain, which was predicted for early today did not arrive until this afternoon when we had a heavy downpour; the washing, which I presume was dry, was soon very wet again.
Today’s picture is of a Juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker. It was taken, as usual, through the kitchen window and it was quite a distance away pecking at the dead branches.
