lavender blue

After the funeral we attended yesterday each family was given a pot of lavender to take home and plant. I thought it was a really lovely thing to do. This is the one I chose as I liked the dark blue chubby flowers. It's been raining this afternoon so I'm hoping to plant it tomorrow. I've earmarked a large royal blue ceramic container. A thoughtful reminder of Mick every time it flowers.
