Summer greens

Summer greens were rather empty at Lufness golf course today when I drove past. Not that they were not green. And not that there were no golfers on the course. But it was definitely not summer. I'm used to rain in summer. But the persistent downpour through the low hanging mist was exceptional.

Listening to the football on BBC Radio Scotland I did enjoy the commentator who said that the builders next to the stadium had downed tools and were now building an ark!

And tomorrow does not look much better. Roll on autumn!
