City Rhythm

Busy day.

Farmers Market as usual. Very busy with the extra people in town for the Rugby match tonight at the much maligned Stadium between South Africa and our mighty All Blacks. It will be a rough game. The Boks only know how to play rough and tough. They are also much more brazen with their dirty tactics involving eyes, testicles and elbows to faces.

Home to do some much needed housework in preparation for visitors staying overnight. My cousins Mary and Toby and M's daughter Jasmine are coming to town for Jasmine to compete in the Winter Swim Championships. She did really well. 8 races and 7 ribbons and two PB's. A mighty effort for a 9 year old.

We ate out at a restaurant in central city - Great Taste - where one can eat all they want for a set price. Food OK and plenty to choose from. I had sushi and a plate of mixed salads and had no room for Apple Crumble. All washed down with a glass of very nice sauvignon blanc.

Home to relax and chat with Mary et al. On the way home I had to stop to capture a few images of the city lights reflected in the harbour which was mirror smooth. Had a wee play with camera movement effects.

Very tired but satisfied with a day well spent.
