Meandering and musing in Morbihan --MmM3/1

Some of the locals were buzzing with excitement on our arrival in southern Brittany. Unfortunately these were the inhabitants of 2 Asian Hornets nests, one in the concrete pit containing the water stop cock the other also handily placed on the lintel above the back door. As these are a notifiable pest the local Mairie despatched - some hours later - a specialist to deal with the nests. He arrived in the protective clothing of shorts and a T-shirt armed with a large aerosol. In any event the nests were destroyed - phew!
