Day 2

Well it's been a busy day but very enjoyable. I can say if anyone is looking for a holiday recommendation i can suggest Stockholm wholeheartedly. We started off with a city tour and a wee walk round the Old Town and i thought the streets in the Shambles in York were narrow! After that it was the Vasa Museum to see an amazing ship and then the Skanse Open Air museum which was amazing.At the start of the 1900s a Swede saw how Sweden's building were changing after the industrial revolution so he started collecting buildings and moving them to this open air museum as you do! It was fascinating to see the old buildings and there was also a zoo with Nordic animals.  It was unlike any zoo Ive seen before as the animals all seemed very happy with themselves. They run aprogramme on reintroducing the babies into the wild when they are ready. I was going to the Abba Museum but it was far too hot a day to be queuing to go inside (although queuing for an ice cream was fine!)
