It was as bleak as it looks
A friend and I decided to go and listen to a talk at the Mapua Boat Club museum. The day had been warm but turned bleak with a cold sea breeze. Fortunately we were indoors. I snapped the main blip just before the talk started. Two extras show the view from the Boat Club meeting room which I had never been in before. While having a cuppa someone pointed out the window and we saw this flock? (I want to say shoal) of shags. A bit far away and through a very dirty window but it shows you what they look like fishing as the tide started to come in.I am hoping they are the Little Shags that we see at the Motueka Estuary.
It was good catching up with genealogists from many moons ago.
