Footprints and friends
Today was a hectic one from start to finish. The day started with a trip to the doctors for Finns last of three immunisation injections until he is a year old. He has been very brave each time only letting out a little cry before falling asleep. Lots of mums say they were the ones to cry but actually as Finn was brave I found it fine. After some calpol to bring his temperature down it was on to preparing for the NCT babies and mums visit.
Today we made some plaster casts of the babies hands and feet. I love getting messy and realised I have missed teaching although not had time to think about it until that moment. Still plenty of time to enjoy maternity leave yet and it was fun to make a lasting impression of the babies feet and hands and make a memory of how small they are at this moment in time.
The photograph shows Bridget and I with Finn and Daniel, both born on 25th May!
Finn is 4 months nearly and has grown so much. I know that although he looks big to me now I will look at his imprints in the future and think how tiny my baby boy once was. Passage of time is moving scarily fast at the moment.....
