What a great way to start the day. It was a photo by happenstance. I seldom close my door's blinds but I had last night. However, I had a window blind open and the early morning light woke me up. As soon as I saw clouds, I knew there would be color.

It started out with shades of red and magenta. Then it turned to golds. When I saw the sunbeams, I knew I had to try to capture them. It was an amazing sight.

I have a whole boatload of work to do before I leave for my week-long vacation in Utah on Monday. I can't believe it's Friday. (It's just past midnight!) Two days to work and one to prepare for travel.

Pinch me. I must be dreaming. I thought I was retired!
