Teasel flowers

My parents were visiting for the weekend.  We all went to visit J yesterday afternoon and had a wander up to the café and sat in the garden in the sunshine.  We're hoping that a further series of tests next week might result in a clearer treatment plan.
This morning we planned a stroll at Moses Gate country park, but having been diverted by roadworks we relocated to Blackleach.  I don't think I'd ever noticed the purple on teasel flowers before - and certainly hadn't seen Moorhens perched in trees rather than on the ground or in the water (in the extra)
