Islay Trip Day One

The Doctor slams the door of the TARDIS hurriedly and rushes off to battle the next alien invasion. But wait! That sonic screwdriver looks a bit on the fat side. Will the Doctor save the day in the Nikon time???

Day one of the Islay Adventure, and four hundred miles of motorway motorbike slog from the Wes' Country up to Glasgow. Happily in surprisingly good weather and with no congestion (apart from the inevitable 50mph average speed check road works).

Having checked into our room for the night we nipped back into Glasgow to seek adventure. 

We found (of course) a "Time And Relative Dimensions In Space" vehicle with a defective chameleon circuit. We found a very good burger restaurant. We found a lot of one way streets that defied sat nav. And we found the Glasgow doesn't seem to cater much for motorcycle parking...
