Cranleigh

More rain today; for some reason, I was SO cold through the night, despite having an extra duvet on me. Had to get out of bed and close a couple of windows!

Got to the URC church at Wonersh for their morning service. We always get a big welcome there, and today, a gentleman whom G was chatting with last week, brought his old pictures of a trip to Dubai and Baghdad in the late 70's/early 80's! It was fascinating to see them.

Home to have our first roast lunch of the season(!)... chicken today. Watched a couple of episodes of Columbo and then decided to go to an evening service. Cranleigh Baptist is the only one within an 8 mile radius that has one, so off we went. We got a very warm welcome and enjoyed an excellent service. Their building is something to see too!
