Palmo Peace 5K and 10K Run/Walk

The Buddhist Palmo Center for Peace and Education organizes a 5K and 10K Run/Walk event every summer.
Kathy and Ihave participated in it several times and we once again walked the 5K this morning.
It is a most mellow gathering of folks to celebrate Peace on the planet in a shared exercise venue.
Hilariously Kathy and I each were the fastest in our age bracket 65-69 years as we crossed the finish line together (it is a very small event.)
Ice cream was enjoyed by all participants and we each received prayer flags as a reward.
