Barn Owl

Each year we are lucky enough to see the Barn Owls fledge. This year has been a little traumatic on the odd occasion, but we think that two of the young have now fledged, leaving two more in the owl box. 

This youngster was getting brave tonight, but hadn't actually left the owl box by the time we turned in (around 1.30am). Mum and Dad were back and forth with tasty titbits, so at least we know they're not going hungry.
