Spiral Plaiting Corn

I had another day;s course at Chiltern Open Air Museum to learn more straw work.  Today it was spiral plaiting, Heather is a very good and very patient teacher and I am pleased with my efforts!

I would like to do more straw work and we may well have some 'Plait and Chat' days at the museum next year, I hope so!

These three need to dry out and then be decorated with ribbons.
