New Pipes

A lazy day today - it was blowing a hooley first thing - and very dark clouds overhead. I didn’t even get out for a walk with Finlay until 11 a.m., when I finally caved in to his pestering!

There appears to be a lot of crop damage around - all the torrential rain and strong winds over the last few days have flattened large areas of almost ripe wheat and barley. I hope it can be revived…

I discovered this large hole in the ground at the top of the village - Yorkshire Water doing their finest…not a workman in sight! Not sure what all this extravagant pipework is for. It seems to be replacing a single simple blue plastic pipe.

My universal battery charger appears to be on the blink, I use it to charge all my camera and AA batteries - and unfortunately, a cursory search has failed to find the original chargers. I have managed to bodge a repair so I can get all charged up, but I don’t know how long the fix will last.
