Canna lily maybe

I saw this flower in the nursery we used for plants to fill up the pots and troughs and window boxes and things. I had grown some of the plants but we needed so many that bulk buys from the nursery was required. This one was simply not right for purpose but the colour was so stunning it simply had to be bought. It looked good for the first few weeks then the others grew and swamped it. However with careful shoving and chopping of the surrounding foliage some of the flowers can be seen. Next year it might make a solo appearance in its very own pot.
