Mowing the lane

The private lane which provides access to our house has a strip of grass growing up the middle. Our neighbours and ourselves take it turn to mow it.   It is about 300m long and a metre wide. The width is slightly annoying as the cut on the mower is 42cm so I need to up and down three times rather than just twice. If nothing else it gets my steps count up for the day.

It has been a lovely day and in addition to mowing the lane I also mowed the lawn and spent the rest of the day undertaking various tasks in the garden.
