Damsel by the loch

The day started well with a visit to Loch Vaa. The sun put in an appearance and the midges were not as evident as yesterday.

This afternoon we transferred to our second area at North Grannish just outside of Aviemore. As we walked from the car park there were a large number of damsel flies and dragon flies. The dragon flies would not settle long enough but I managed to catch a couple of damsels taking a brief rest.
