Sam (on the left) was staying with us so that Joss (on the right) could go for a rare night out.

Later on, as I read Sam some stories to try to get him to sleep, I was reading about Thomas (the tank engine!) and friends.

I asked a single question.....
"Have you got a friend Sam?"
"Daddy."
