Gorgeous Weather

My goodness, what a stunning day (in fact, two days).  Just what is needed to help dry out the region.
We walked the cliff track this morning in splendid conditions, met another couple doing likewise and enjoyed a wee chat.  A few "intrepid detours" onto the beach as parts of the track have been dramatically washed out with the recent flooding.  This photo is taken where we usually turn around, and looks out to the south part of Timaru and to the snow covered alps in the distance.  We live to the left of the picture on the lovely rural Salisbury downs.

A visit to the garden centre to pick up my Pin Oak, which we planted (and staked) this afternoon.
Looking forward to watching the Diana doco tonight
